Job Description

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies, Administration, Management, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, primarily in Compensation & Benefits.

  • Solid understanding of compensation structures, payroll, taxation, benefits benchmarking, and related HR functions.

  • Familiar with local labor laws and statutory regulations pertaining to EPF, Tax, and SOCSO.

  • PC literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Able to work with ambiguity, highly independent, and willing to take initiative, challenges, and responsibilities.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Independent, tactful, and possess a high level of integrity.

  • Self-driven and able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

  • Willing to travel when required.

  • Experience and knowledge in Workday and Ceridian will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support on the full spectrum of Compensation & Benefits functions, including performance management, budget planning, benefit and insurance administration, payroll administration, leave management, flexi-benefit administration, and related activities to ensure alignment with corporate strategic goals and objectives.

  • Manage and propose suitable HRIS and Payroll systems for the Company.

  • Perform salary and benefits benchmarking and analysis, including market survey participation, annual salary review proposals, budgeting exercises, and monitoring industry salary trends.

  • Review and update compensation and benefits policies and procedures in alignment with corporate guidelines to ensure efficient practices and legal compliance.

  • Support annual performance management reviews, salary increment exercises, variable bonus plans, promotion recommendations, and market adjustment initiatives.

  • Support in-house payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

  • Keep abreast of market and legislative updates, industry trends, and provide advice and support to employees and management at all levels.

  • Prepare, compile, and analyze management reports and approval papers, while ensuring proper documentation and safekeeping of departmental records.

  • Act as the point of contact for employee inquiries related to rewards policies and facilitate educational sessions on compensation and benefits.

  • Develop and maintain strong coordination and productive working relationships between the Human Resource Department and other key departments at HQ and operational levels.

  • Utilize HR analytics tools to monitor compensation-related data, prepare management reports, and present actionable insights on workforce metrics such as turnover related to benefits dissatisfaction.

  • Provide support to other HR functions as required.
