POSITION SUMMARY

This is a full-time retail role for someone who takes ownership of their work and genuinely cares about the customer experience. You will play a central role in the day-to-day operations of Mano Plus — a curated retail platform for regional artisanal brands — ensuring the store runs smoothly, products are presented well, and customers leave with a meaningful experience.

This role is not passive shelf management. It requires initiative, attention to detail, and a calm, confident approach to everything from stock control to customer interaction.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented Full-Time Retail Associate to own daily store operations at Mano Plus KL. This person must be comfortable working independently, holding themselves to a high standard, and representing the Mano Plus brand with calm confidence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail & Store Operations

- Own daily store operations from opening to closing

- Execute opening and closing checklists in full

- Handle cashiering, daily POS reconciliation, and cash float management

- Maintain floor reset standards every 2–3 hours throughout operating hours

- Execute pre-close VM reset 30 minutes before closing

- Receive, verify, and organise incoming stock deliveries

- Support inter-store stock transfers (KL to Penang) when required

Visual Merchandising

- Maintain VM and display standards in line with Mano Plus guidelines

- Ensure shelves, hooks, and display zones are always clean, fully stocked, and on-brand

- Assist with VM resets and merchandising projects as directed

- Ensure all products carry accurate, visible pricing at all times

Inventory & Stock Management

- Conduct routine stock checks and flag discrepancies to supervisor

- Monitor tester stock levels and replenish or prepare testers as required

- Support stock takes for outright-purchased inventory

- Replenish fast-moving products from backroom throughout the day

- Identify low-stock items and escalate to supervisor — do not contact vendors directly

- Water and maintain indoor plants in the store

Order Fulfilment

- Process and fulfil online orders accurately and on time (pick, pack, dispatch)

- Coordinate with courier partners and track outgoing deliveries

- Ensure packaging materials are adequately stocked

Customer Experience

- Greet and engage customers naturally — warm, sincere, never pushy

- Guide customers through products and brand stories

- Offer intentional cross-sell recommendations based on product knowledge

- Handle basic customer enquiries and escalate complaints to supervisor when required

- Verify all purchases with customer before checkout (item, size, colour, quantity)

- Document any recurring product enquiries or customer feedback

General Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store at all times

- Log all incidents (complaints, damaged goods, POS issues, discrepancies) in the Incident Log

- Support events, campaigns, or pop-ups when required

- Submit expense claims by the 25th of each month with valid receipts

- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Retail Supervisor or Management

Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
