As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional spaces for clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their design requirements, prepare design proposals, and execute design plans. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Design expertise: You should have a good understanding of products, design, color matching, composition, and aesthetics. You will use your knowledge to design and create interior spaces that meet the needs and preferences of clients.
Personal professional development: You should be responsible and ready to learn new skills to keep up with industry trends and best practices.
Project costing: You will be responsible for preparing basic project costing quotations, site visit measurements, material selection, technical drawing, detailing, and production drawing.
Client presentations: You will be responsible for presenting design concepts and ideas to clients with mood boards and material boards. You will prepare and provide presentation materials to clients.
Design proposals: You will be responsible for creating design proposals for clients, which will include creating detailed plans for the space.
Supervision: You will supervise and ensure project progress according to plan, ensuring that the design plan is executed properly and within budget.
Training: We will provide training to enhance your skills and keep you up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Review cabinet and closet designs to ensure that the design is compliant with the company's product offerings and installation requirements and limitations.
Work with the designers and production team to resolve design questions.
Produce a cutlist that identifies all parts and machining requirements for the components required to construct the customer's design.
Provide support to the Sales, Production, and Installation Teams, as required.
Describe production methods step-by-step (including equipment and software types to be used)
Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials
Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
To perform day to day general administrative tasks
Attend to incoming and outgoing phone customer phone calls
Handle clients’ inquiries and provide assistance
Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
Preparing and update of sales invoices, vouchers, receipts, debit note and credit note.
Preparing daily accounting entries, payment vouchers, petty cash voucher, accounts receivable, statement of accounting/collections submission of SST and filing, bank and invoice reconciliation.
Office maintenance- stock management for stationaries, refreshment, filling of documents repairs and maintenance to ensure proper inventory
Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call/meet on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
