Job Descriptions

• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer accounts.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the management.

• Identify potential customers and actively promote the company's freight forwarding and logistics services.

• Analyze customers' business performance and recommend suitable logistics solutions to improve service quality and cost efficiency.

• Maintain competitive pricing while ensuring profitability to the company.

• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships, understand customers' business needs, and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Work closely with the Operations and Air Freight Customer Service Division to ensure smooth execution of customers' shipments and fulfilment of service requirements.

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on customers' logistics requirements where necessary.

• Communicate customer expectations effectively with relevant Operations staffs or internal departments.

• Handle customer feedback professionally and coordinate with internal teams to resolve service issues. 

Other

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, service quality, and operational efficiency.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) and Corrective Actions, when required.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management

 Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.

• Freight forwarding sales experience is mandatory.

• Experience selling Air Freight, Sea Freight, or Logistics solutions will be an added advantage.

• Strong business development, sales negotiation, account management skills.

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new customer accounts.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Possess own transport and willing to travel locally (Penang / Kedah / Ipoh).
