Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LED Screen Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LED screens for various commercial and industrial applications. This role involves working on-site to ensure the successful installation and functionality of high-quality LED display systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. LED Screen Installation:

- Install and set up LED screens in commercial, industrial, and outdoor environments.

- Follow detailed technical drawings and specifications for installation to ensure correct positioning and mounting of LED screens.

- Ensure that all cables, brackets, and components are properly installed and secured to industry standards.

2. System Configuration and Calibration:

- Set up and configure the LED screen software and hardware systems.

- Perform system checks to ensure optimal image quality, resolution, and performance.

- Calibrate brightness, color, and contrast settings to match project requirements and site conditions.

3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to LED screen functionality, including display problems, connectivity issues, and hardware failures.

- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of LED screens to ensure long-term performance.

- Replace defective components, such as modules or power supplies, as necessary.

4. Site Preparation and Safety:

- Conduct site assessments to ensure the installation area meets the requirements for LED screen setup (e.g., electrical connections, structural integrity).

- Adhere to safety protocols during the installation process, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and the team.

- Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation and troubleshooting tasks safely and efficiently.

5. Customer Interaction:

- Communicate effectively with clients during installation, addressing any concerns or questions regarding the project.

- Provide guidance and training to clients on how to use and maintain the LED screens once installation is complete.

- Maintain a professional and customer-oriented demeanor at all times.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed records of installation procedures, component specifications, and troubleshooting steps.

- Provide feedback and reports on completed projects to ensure all tasks are documented and any challenges encountered are addressed.

7. Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with other technicians, project managers, and engineers to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

- Assist with other technical tasks as required by the team, contributing to the overall success of the projects.

8. Travel and On-site Presence:

- Travel to client sites as needed for installation and troubleshooting, which may include both local and out-of-town projects.

- Work flexible hours and occasional weekends, depending on project timelines.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of LED screens (at least 1-3 years).

- Strong technical knowledge of LED screen hardware, software, and display technologies.

- Experience with signal processing equipment, video controllers, and media players used in LED screen systems.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and installation guidelines.

- Proficiency with basic electrical wiring and connections.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues quickly and efficiently.

- Safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols on construction and installation sites.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and perform tasks such as lifting and carrying equipment (typically up to 25-50 kg).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in electrical engineering, AV systems, or a related field. Other Technical field experienced employees are welcomed to apply.

- Prior experience working with indoor/outdoor LED screens and large-scale installations and familiarity with networked LED systems & remote monitoring/control systems will be added advantage.
- Those with GDL license will be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: Both office & Warehouse factory are located in Kota Damansara.

Expected Start Date: Asap / With limited notice period in current place.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
