The person in this position is responsible for providing administrative support for the various curriculum modules within MD Programme in the Office of Education (OoE).
Support the operations and administration of the Research and Scholarship (R&S) thread within the MD Programme, including day-to-day classroom activities.
Provide administrative support to faculty and students to ensure the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of assigned courses or programmes. This includes assisting with cross-covering responsibilities and supporting colleagues with other courses when required.
Manage functionalities of Student Learning Management Systems and learning resources for assigned courses or programmes, monitoring student submissions while maintaining effective communication with students and faculty.
Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Head of the MD Programme Department.
Provide administrative support for the MD Programme and departmental activities, including procurement, student conference support, finance-related functions such as report data compilation, and processing of payments in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with colleagues across the Office of Education and SingHealth to operationalise assigned longitudinal learning activities across phases, including assessment-related activities.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by reporting officer.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
Prior work experience in an academic, healthcare or research environment would be advantageous.
Meticulous and well-organised, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to support operational and administrative functions.
