We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Operations who shall lead the production team and manage the entire coffee lifecycle, from sourcing to roast to final product and quality assurance. He shall be responsible to support daily coffee roasting operations, production planning, inventory management, quality control, and overall operational coordination to ensure smooth workflow and consistent coffee quality. Key responsibilities:
1. Coffee Roasting Support
- Assist Senior Roaster in daily roasting production.
- Prepare green beans for roasting according to production schedule.
- Monitor roasting process, machine temperature, airflow, and timing.
- Record roast profiles and production data accurately.
- Ensure roasted beans are packed, labeled, and stored properly.
- Maintain consistency and quality standards for all roasted coffee.
2. Production & Inventory Management
- Monitor green bean and packaging stock levels.
- Update monthly stock reports.
- Update daily incoming and outgoing stock.
- Ensure roasting production meets order deadlines.
- Organize warehouse and storage areas for efficiency and cleanliness.
- Assist in forecasting production needs based on sales demand.
3. Operations Coordination
- Coordinate daily operational workflow between roasting, packing, and delivery.
- Handle order preparation and fulfillment.
- Assist in scheduling deliveries and logistics arrangements.
- Support operational improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
- Ensure all SOPs are followed properly.
4. Machine & Workspace Maintenance
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance for roasting equipment.
- Ensure roasting area, warehouse, and workstations remain clean and organized.
- Report technical issues or machine abnormalities immediately.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor operational issues.
5. Quality Control
- Conduct basic quality checking for roasted beans and packed products.
- Ensure packaging quality and labeling accuracy.
- Monitor consistency in roast color, aroma, and bean development.
- Ensure all operational tasks are following the HALAL SOPs.
6. Administrative & Reporting
- Update production logs and inventory records.
- Prepare operational reports when required.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal team when necessary.
- Support management with operational planning and execution.
7. Customer Engagement
- Respond to customer enquiry regarding the product recipe/ product issues diligently and professionally
- Conduct coffee tasting with customer as and when required
- Provide solutions or suggestion to customer should customer face any issue with the beans brewing.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
