Responsibilities: -
- Supervise and lead the service team during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Assist in staff scheduling and manpower planning to ensure sufficient coverage, especially during peak periods and buffet service.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards, particularly in buffet and high-volume service environments.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow between front-of-house and back-of-house.
- Support buffet, event setup and execution, ensuring food presentation, replenishment, and service quality meet standards.
- Assist in monitoring inventory, stock control, and ordering of supplies.
- Support outlet performance by monitoring daily operations, service quality, and basic cost awareness (e.g. wastage control).
- Assist management in promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with company SOP and food safety regulations.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements: -
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the F&B industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Candidates with hotel, buffet, or banquet service experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a team.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in handling customer issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on, proactive, and willing to lead by example on the floor.
- Basic knowledge of outlet operations including stock control, ordering, and staff scheduling.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and service standards.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and passion for hospitality.
- Willingness to grow into a more senior role (Assistant Manager / Manager) over time.
