Job Purpose
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Purchasing Specialist with 3 to 5 years of experience to oversee our procurement activities. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing critical suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services to support our business operations.
Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Software: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel.
Traits: Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Sourcing & Vendor Management: Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing vendors.
Negotiation: Lead contract and price negotiations to secure the best total cost of ownership (TCO) without compromising quality.
PO Management: Oversee the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules.
Inventory & Demand Planning: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, material costs, and market shifts to proactively manage supply chain risks.
Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
