Education managers plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the educational and administrative aspects of education services, primary and secondary schools, colleges and faculties and departments in universities and other educational institutions.
Tasks include –
Determining educational programmes based on frameworks established by education authorities and governing bodies;
Implementing systems and procedures to monitor school performance and student enrolments;
Directing administrative and clerical activities concerning student admissions and educational services;
Controlling administrative operations such as budget planning, report preparation, and expenditure on supplies, equipment and services;
Providing leadership and guidance to teaching, academic and administrative staff as well as to students;
Evaluating the work of teachers and lecturers by visiting classrooms, observing teaching methods, reviewing instructional objectives and examining learning materials;
Promoting the educational programme, and representing the service or institution in the wider community;
Supervising the maintenance of educational facilities;
Developing and enforcing a disciplinary code to create a safe and conducive environment for students and teachers;
Organizing and implementing methods of raising additional funds in conjunction with parent and community groups and sponsors;
Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned -Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
To ensure that all basic needs of children’s (physical needs) are met.
To perform close monitoring of children’s needs is well taken: like monitoring & tracking for their hour milk consumption, assessment of their needs from time to time, and monitoring each children milestones and developments.
The role required the incumbent to be well-versed in providing health care services to children, including preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and monitoring of growth and development.
To be able to provide intervention to help children to improve their mobility skills, including gross motor skills and balancing.
To observe and assess the milestone development and progress of each child.
To provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to develop and reach Age-appropriate milestones.
To maintain the cleanliness, attractiveness, and safety of the physical environment, equipment, and materials.
To plan, prepare and carry out a program of activities for the holistic development of each child under the incumbent’s care.
To keep reports of health, progress and accidents/injuries (if any) sustained by the children.
To write progress reports for communication to parents upon request.
To welcome children upon arrival, and hand them over to parents after the day ended.
To counsel and assist students to make best-informed decisions
To recruit students and to ensure the student number are met as per target set.
To promote and market education and institutions
To follow up on student enquiry / application / acceptance;
To handle and carry out sales and marketing activities / events for both online & offline such as roadshows, education fairs, presentations, direct mailing and activity logistics
Education administrators organise and manage the administration, support systems and (student) activities of an education institution. They perform a range of administrative, secretarial, financial and otherwise supportive tasks to enable the efficient and cost-effective running of the school. They may assist in student recruitment, alumni relations, funding, work on committees including academic boards and quality insurance.
