You will be involved in lesson planning and lesson delivery to our KS4 and A-Level students.
You are highly encouraged to implement various method of learning including, but not limited to, creative learning resources, innovative displays, and other engaging learning schemes that will create a positive learning environment.
To plan, prepare and conduct appropriately the designed courses and classes.
Keep abreast with the latest teaching pedagogy and technologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
You will be responsible for the preparation and marking of work to facilitate positive student development.
You will also be required to maintain a good & accurate record of students' grades and progression.
Teach Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew courses in consultation with the Dean of Academics for each academic year including for all extension and block classes scheduled.
Prepare and develop teaching syllabi one semester in advance for approval by the Dean of Academics.
Prepare and assess students' academic progress through assignments, tests and examinations including all related administrative responsibilities.
Mentor student groups to provide guidance and pastoral care.
Participate in all meetings, programs and activities scheduled by the school.
Responsible for continued professional self-development plan in consultation with the school leadership
Minimum PhD in Old Testament Studies
Minimum 10 years' teaching experience at a graduate level.
Minimum 8 years' overseas living/working experience and effective in cross-cultural communication.

We will provide training to reach trainer credentials. A person who can use their industry expertise and transform that knowledge into training, coaching, and mentoring participants.

Be responsible for courses' administration duties such as course administration, timetable planning, course materials management, oversees coordination with University / external education partners etc.
Assist with Academic staff development and management
Manage academic of student administration such as exercise delegated authority on student related issues, ensures attainment of learning outcome of programmes, initiate measures to improve academic quality.
Assist to develop teaching and learning component of the Institute’s Operational Plan

Requirements
Minimum Master's Degree (preferred) with minimum 5 years of industry experience and has/or will attend a pedagogy course in academic teaching.
Good first-class bachelor’s Degree / Postgraduate / Master / MBA / DBA / PhD
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Teaching qualifications, e.g. Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), will be an added advantage.
