Overall scope and purpose of job:

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel and grounds painting and repair services. To provide a full engineering service and to help develop the department to the fullest. Works in all related areas and will assist in all general engineering department duties are required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide painting and repair services to the hotel and its surrounding independently and less supervision.
• Provides repair, repainting, minor upgrading of services to the hotel structure and grounds, furniture and fittings replacement inclusive of upholstery and ceiling repair.
• Liaise and assist external contract worker as instructed and required.
• To assist in all general engineering department works as required.
• Process all work orders efficiently and promptly.
• Take active part in preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain stock requirements as required.
• Work efficiently, tidily and effectively.
• Areas of responsibility include hotel rooms, public areas, back of house, front of house, production and storage, service area, all outlets and ground.
• Ensure all supplies and services in connection with the duties allocated are functioning correctly and economically.
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
