• M&E Resident Engineer with minimum 5 years experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsible for carrying out the Consultant functions in Construction Management.

• To ensure that Contractor implements the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Testing and Commissioning Plan, Quality Management System, Health and Safety Management.

• Assisting Contractor for interfacing with the Authorities.

• Ensuring that all site records such as signed copy of inspection forms, test reports, audit report, weekly activities report, weather data, Contractor’s manpower at site, Contractor’s equipment at site etc properly documented, filed and stored.

• Monitoring all works carried out by Contractor for conformance to the approved design, specifications, shop drawings and method statements.

• Overall responsible for carrying out the Site Inspections for the project. ·

• Issuing instruction or Non-Conformance Report (NCR) to Contractor for their immediate action on any deficiencies observed on Contractor’s work.

• Monitoring the closure of NCR.

• Implementing Consultant’s Quality Management System with respect to document management, conducting audit on Contractor.

• Maintained proper site diary recording all activities carried out during the day.

• Keeping track on the progress of work at the Site. 

• Where necessary, request Contractor to submit a mitigation plan to catch up with the progress and to prevent further delay on the work.

• To attend to all technical site meeting with Client/Consultant/Contractor.

• To liaise and coordinate with among others the client, client representive, site personnel and contractors on all site matters.

• Attend meeting with authorities, client, contractor and supplier related to our project

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess relevant qualification in Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent.

• Candidate shall register with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as Engineer.

• Minimum 5 years experience in M&E work.

• Possess experience in M&E construction.

• Independent and resourceful

• Good communication skill

• Capable of working under tight schedule and long hours.
