Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Ensure all assignments, tasks, and deliverables are completed with high quality assurance and compliance for diverse clients.
  • To be equipped, familiarise and mastering the Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS) and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) requirements and any other auditing requirements and standards imposed by the relevant authorities (“Standards”).
  • To be equipped, familiarise and mastering the Income Tax Act, rules, by-laws, and regulations relating to tax audit, audit reviews and tax clearance (“Laws”).
  • Lead the audit and tax team assigned by your superior and to ensure your team member achieve and complete all assignments, tasks, and deliverables within the timelines and expectations in accordance with the Standards and Laws.
  • Accomplish department objectives by managing team members, planning, and evaluating department activities.
  • Detailed analytical reviews of financial statements and reports.
  • Execute the audit procedures as defined by engagement objectives and planned audit approach.
  • Communicate and discuss potential audit issues with the Managers and Partners.
  • Preparing tax computations for the audited reports.
  • Preparing draft audit reports in accordance with the MPERS/MFRS and other statutory disclosure requirements.
  • Handle multiple audit and tax assignments.
  • Review unaudited financial statements (when needed).



Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification in Accounting or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude.
  • Work well under deadline-driven environment. Possesses own transport.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and abot cloud audit software will be added advantages.
  • 1 to 3 years similar experience individuals are welcome to apply.
