Job Description:
- Ensure GL accounts are accurately recorded in compliance with accounting standards and company guidelines.
- Verify and ensure accurate cost allocation, correct coding and WBS entries in SAP for requisitions, purchase orders, contracts and invoices.
- Prepare work plans, cost estimations, and workforce forecasts and collaborate with projects department on monthly progress reporting. Coordinate with various departments to maintain accurate cost recording and forecasting.
- Monitor project progress, perform analysis on any delays/disruptions, and track project timelines.
- Issue invoices to clients and monitor timely on payment collections and follow-ups.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports for financial analysis and decision-making.
- Assist in external audit, corporate tax matters, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Review and verify staff expense claims and payments to third parties.
- Involved in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 activities and documentation.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications, Experience, Competences and Technical Skills:
- Candidate must possess either a Bachelor’s Degree, or Diploma, or qualification in Accountancy/Costing/Finance.
- Knowledge of SAP/Edifice would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel.
- Ability, analyse and perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted costs.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in document or records management.
- Good attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Highly organised and good communication skills.
