Refrigeration & Cold Room Technician

Location: Berjaya CKE Corporate Office, Wisma CKE, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: RM3,500 – RM5,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Berjaya CKE is seeking a skilled and motivated Refrigeration & Cold Room Technician to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cold room and refrigeration systems for commercial and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test cold room and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration and cold room equipment.
• Carry out repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance works.
• Perform refrigerant piping, copper piping, insulation, and brazing works.
• Perform electrical wiring, control panel wiring, and component replacement.
• Attend service calls and provide technical support at customer sites.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
• Prepare service reports and document work performed.
• Support project installations and site coordination activities.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2~3 year of relevant working experience in refrigeration, cold room, HVAC, or technical service industry.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and electrical controls.
• Experience in electrical wiring, piping, brazing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams is an advantage.
• Possess a valid GDL/D driving license.
• Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
