The Tender Lead is a Commercial Center position responsible for managing the overall tendering process, providing oversight and driving needed tasks to completion to ensure high-quality proposals and on-time delivery. The Tender Lead also ensures proposals are technically competent, innovative where appropriate, and fully addresses the client's stated requirements. Based on the broad tendering experience, this person contributes to the tender strategy in collaboration with the GeoUnit BL S&C and S&M Managers.

• People First - Coach GeoUnit S&C team and Tender Coordinator on opportunity management through the tender interactions, such as C4C opportunity record content quality.
• Provide their assigned Tender Coordinator(s) with required support and direction in tender write-up and process competence, including their professional development through the Development Program (TCDP).
• Provide the GeoUnit sales team with tender strategy recommendations sourcing from their expertise, experience and lessons learned from other Business Lines or geographies.
• Manage the process, development, and sanction of the tender submission.
• Responsible for the deliverables meeting customer requirements and ensuring sufficient resources are available.
• Prepare, coordinate, and execute tender kick-off meetings to review the tender scope, approval matrix, OEA (when applicable), tender package items of concern and critical process requirements including (but not limited to): clarifications, credit limit, trade compliance, itemized deliverables with detailed structure, and proposed timeline/deadlines to be agreed with the stakeholders.
• Track action items and maintain stakeholder communication of key deadlines and requirements.
• Provide recommendations and consolidate clarification questions/statements contributed by all relevant parties.
• Provide recommendations and consolidate technical and commercial exceptions contributed by all relevant parties, aligning them to agreed positions in existing contracts, recently submitted tenders across Business Lines, and relevant MSA (when applicable).
• Accountable for the assigned Country/GeoUnit library content quality, relevance and updated continuously in collaboration with the Tender Coordinator and Regional Content Coordinator.
• Accountable for the Tender Delivery Team continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and service quality initiatives as dictated by the Tender Manager as well as providing feedback for tender process/workflow improvement.
