Position : IT Infrastructure Assistant
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain IT network infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Configure and manage firewalls and VPN connections to ensure secure network access
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, including updates, patching, and troubleshooting
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Proxmox
- Support and maintain IPPBX (Grandstream) and PABX (Aristel) systems
- Provide technical support for Windows and Linux workstations
- Configure and manage wireless networks (2.4GHz and 5GHz access points) for office and guest use
- Set up and maintain SFTP/FTP services
- Install and manage endpoint security solutions such as Bitdefender
- Perform structured cabling, including RJ45 termination, patch panel installation, and cable management
- Support IT hardware installation in data center environments
- Assist in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and implementation
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash
- Maintain and administer NAS (Network Attached Storage) systems, including configuration, user access management, backup integration, and performance monitoring
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology /Network or equivalent;
- At least 2 years of IT experience for architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.

- Experience in areas such as network design and administration, data center operations, database administration, and systems programming and administration

- Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage internal and external projects from inception to completion
- Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
- Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions as well as documenting them and presenting them to senior management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
