Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Petaling Jaya. The Sales Engineer will identify business opportunities, engage prospective and existing clients, and present technical solutions that align with customer needs in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering sector. Daily responsibilities include preparing proposals and quotations, delivering product demonstrations, and providing technical clarification during pre- and post-sales activities. The role will involve collaborating with internal engineering and project teams to ensure solutions are feasible, competitive, and delivered as promised. The Sales Engineer will also maintain strong customer relationships, respond to inquiries, support issue resolution, and contribute feedback for product improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong Sales Engineering and technical solution-selling skills, with the ability to translate engineering concepts into clear value propositions.
• Experience in Sales and Customer Service, including lead follow-up, relationship management, and account nurturing.
• Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting, coordinating with engineering teams, and guiding customers through implementation or product issues.
• Excellent Communication skills for presenting, negotiating, preparing documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or related Engineering field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with EE works standards and practices is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and travel to client sites as required.
