About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor (Fit Out) to join our construction team. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fit-out operations on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards, coordinating between teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position is integral to the successful delivery of our construction projects and represents a key leadership role within our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all fit-out activities on site, including installation of partitions, mechanical systems, electrical fixtures, plumbing and finishes

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, drawings and relevant building regulations

• Monitor daily progress and maintain project schedules, identifying and resolving delays proactively

• Manage and direct subcontractors and site workers, ensuring clear communication of tasks and expectations

• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols and procedures

• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, timesheets, material deliveries and quality reports

• Liaise with project managers, clients, architects and other stakeholders to report on progress and resolve issues

• Conduct induction and toolbox talks for site personnel to promote safety awareness and best practices

• Manage site resources including materials, equipment and personnel to optimise efficiency

• Identify and report defects or non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly

• Support budget management by monitoring costs and minimising wastage

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction fit-out sector

• Proven track record of successfully managing fit-out projects from commencement to completion

• Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods, materials and processes, including partitioning, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems

• Demonstrated expertise in site safety management and compliance with Malaysian construction regulations and standards

• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate diverse workforce

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation

• Strong organisational and planning abilities with capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to liaise with various stakeholders

• Computer literacy with ability to use project management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Kuala Lumpur as required

• Relevant certifications such as Construction Safety and Health (COSH) or equivalent qualifications are preferred

• Experience working on high-rise commercial or mixed-use developments in Kuala Lumpur is advantageous
