About The Role

Legenda Bumimas Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Engineer to support plant engineering operations, process optimization, maintenance reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives within our waste recovery and environmental services facility.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring plant efficiency, operational safety, engineering compliance, and project execution while supporting sustainable operational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily plant operations and engineering performance
• Troubleshoot process, equipment, and operational issues to minimize downtime
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and reliability activities
• Support engineering projects, equipment installation, and commissioning works
• Improve plant efficiency, recovery yield, and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with DOSH, DOE, safety, and environmental regulations
• Conduct engineering analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, technicians, and cross-functional teams
• Support sustainability initiatives and operational optimization projects

RequirementsQualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Chemical Engineering or
• Mechanical Engineering or
• Petroleum Engineering or
• Process Engineering or
• Environmental Engineering
• Or related engineering discipline

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of working experience in:
• Plant operations
• Process engineering
• Manufacturing or refinery industries
• Waste recovery or industrial facilities
• Engineering maintenance & project management

• Strong knowledge in process engineering, plant operations, and equipment systems
• Experience in project execution, maintenance, and facility management
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with DOSH, DOE, HIRARC, and safety compliance requirements
• Knowledge in sustainability, ESG, and operational improvement initiatives
• Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engineering priorities
