About the role

As an Operating Theatre Nurse you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care within our state-of-the-art surgical facilities in Kuala Lumpur. What you'll be doing

• Preparing and maintaining the operating theatre environment to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety

• Assisting surgeons and anaesthetists during a variety of surgical procedures, providing expert technical and emotional support to patients

• Monitoring patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout surgical operations, escalating any concerns to the appropriate medical personnel

• Ensuring all necessary equipment, instrumentation and supplies are available and in good working order

• Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of our surgical services

• Collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and facilitate a smooth patient journey

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an operating theatre or recovery room setting

• Strong technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of surgical instrumentation, equipment and procedures

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider healthcare team
