Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting:
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast future demand.
Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to gather input for demand planning.
Adjust forecasts based on market conditions and promotional activities.
Replenishment Planning:
Determine optimal order quantities and reorder points.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of products.
Monitor supplier performance and address issues affecting inventory availability.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock analysis.
Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend actions.
Analyze and report on inventory performance metrics such as turnover rates, fill rates, and stock accuracy.
Identify and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to align inventory levels with operational needs.
Participate in new product launch planning and inventory setup.
Communicate inventory status and potential issues to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Sciences, or related field.
Fresh graduates welcome, or 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel).
Highly interested in numbers, analysis, and forecasting.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
