As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in the automotive engineering operations, responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality automotive components.
What you’ll be doing :
- Develop and write CNC programs to control the operation of CNC machines, ensuring efficient and precise manufacturing of automotive components
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine the most appropriate machining processes and programming requirements
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
- Constantly monitor the CNC machining process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions
- Maintain detailed records of production data, programs, and machine performance

What we’re looking for :
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the automotive engineering industry
- Strong technical knowledge of CNC programming, including experience with CAD/CAM software and ability to write G-code and M-code programs
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot and optimise CNC machining processes
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional departments
- Certification or training in CNC programming or machine operation is preferred
