Responsibilities

· Product Design & Development
- Explore and develop new design applications using company product ranges as core
- Propose and develop tailored design solutions for special or non-standard project enquiries.
- Translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions aligned with technical and project requirements.

· Technical Coordination & Project Support
- Support project team in preparing shop drawings, 3D models, and technical visuals when required.
- Coordinate with internal technical and production teams to ensure design feasibility, accuracy, and smooth implementation.
- Assist in resolving design and technical challenges during project execution.

· Custom Product Development & Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors on custom product development for special projects.
- Participate in discussions to align design intent, technical feasibility, and cost considerations.
- Monitor development progress of prototypes, mock-ups, or special solutions where required.

· Supplier & Material Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers and fabricators to ensure material suitability, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness of proposed designs.
- Source alternatives or improvements for materials and fabrication methods when necessary.

· Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain and organize design documents, drawings, and development records in a systematic and accessible manner.
- Ensure all documentation meets company standards and supports future reference and project continuity.

· Exhibition & Marketing Support
- Assist in design and development of yearly exhibition booth, product displays, and presentation materials.
- Support marketing efforts by preparing visuals, diagrams, and project showcasing for client and designer engagement.

Ad-hoc Duties
- Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
• Understanding of materials, basic engineering principles, and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and willingness to learn

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
