Job Description

Responsibilities

Department: Business Development
Position: Data Center Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in data center solutions

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, GC and key stakeholders

o   Understand client requirements and propose tailored data center solutions

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals

  • Understand client requirements and ensure compliance with data center standards

  • Support basic solution design

  • Coordinate with engineering team for detailed design

  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, project, procurement)

  • Manage RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, follow up and close sales deals

o   Achieve sales targets and revenue growth

o   Design and propose solutions for:

·        Power systems (Electrical Scope)

·        Genset

·        Cooling systems

·        IT Network

·        Racks and containment systems

·        Etc

o    Support project handover from sales to project team

o    Provide technical clarification during project implementation

o    Maintain customer satisfaction and long-term relationships

o    Maintain client relationship throughout project lifecycle

o    Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports

o    Track project pipeline and revenue forecast

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT, or related field

  • Experience in data center solutions, IT infrastructure, or M&E systems

  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, IT Network basics)

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Understanding of cost and pricing

  • Experience in EPC, system integration, or solution sales is an advantage
