A Production Planner is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing or production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

1.      Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity.

2.      Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

3.      Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, equipment breakdowns, or material shortages.

4.      Analyze demand trends, inventory levels, and lead times to prevent overproduction or stockouts.

5.      Collaborate with production supervisors to balance workload and resource allocation.

6.      Prepare and present production status reports to management.

7.      Identify process bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

8.      Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.

9.      Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning and supply chain efficiency.
