The Warehouse Plant Leader / Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, timely order fulfilment, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.
This role requires strong analytical thinking to evaluate warehouse performance, identify operational gaps, analyse inventory trends, and implement effective solutions to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and inventory data to support decision-making.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
Lead, coach, and monitor warehouse personnel to achieve operational targets and maintain high performance standards.
Analyse inventory data, stock movements, and warehouse KPIs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock takes, and stock reconciliation.
Ensure inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances, damaged goods, delivery issues, and other operational challenges.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimise recurring warehouse issues.
Evaluate warehouse workflows and recommend process improvements to optimise space utilisation, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Allocate manpower and warehouse resources according to workload requirements and operational priorities.
Prepare and analyse operational reports to support management decision-making and performance evaluation.
Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and timely deliveries.
Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, quality standards, and Health, Safety and Environment requirements.
Train and develop warehouse staff to improve operational performance and ensure adherence to best practices.
Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
