Requirements

ITE Level and below.

Candidates with 4/5 Driving License and/or Forklift License would be an added advantage

Experienced candidates will be considered for Senior or Supervisory position

Description

To manage and organize inbound/outbound shipment from supplier /to customer and liaise with the companys broker for the customs clearance application.

To interact with PMPs sister plants globally (Italy, India, China, etc)

To interact with PMPs sales and material planner for logistics movement

Plan and execute daily logistic activities comprising transaction documentation, customs, clearance, transportation, and shipping arrangement within the targeted time frame.

Arrange domestic deliveries /export shipments meeting cost efficiency and advantageous delivery alternatives (mode of transport, route) to customer.

Manage shipping documentation (invoices, packing list, bills of lading, certificates of origin, insurance, etc) and liaise with shipping agents.

Maintain good business relations with relevant external parties such as Government Departments, Customs, Forwarders and Shipping Agents, Insurance Agents for various application for approval and licenses.

Check transporter and forwarder invoice.

Preparing Custom Report/Prepare any documentation to Custom.

Do renewal of MIDA exemption list.

Position: Warehouse Manager (3PL)

Location: Tuas

Working hours: Mon-Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,500 Gross (Basic + Allowances) + Performance Bonus (twice per year)

Main Responsibilities:

Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations

Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime

Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods

Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

Developing sales plans and analysing profitability

Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics

Recruit and train new hires

Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience working in 3PL warehouse/logistics company.

Possess Diploma in any discipline.

Prior experiences in managing, training staffs and leading a team.

Receiving, stores, and issues supplies and equipment and compiles records of supply transactions: Verifies that supplies received are listed on requisitions and invoices.

Dispatch or release of items and execute shipments to internal and external customers effectively. Support the expediting of orders with factory, reduce WIP and improve cash flow.

Planning and co-ordinate receipt of all incoming shipments. Process goods receive, damage report, storage, put away, release of items to internal customers and execute shipments in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensuring efficient and smooth running of warehouse daily operations and maintain high standard of housekeeping and safety practices. Assist the Senior Logistic Specialist or management in any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Promote company logistics products to prospect client (Air/Sea Freight / Warehouse / Trucking) by calling potential prospects.

Create - Develop - Secure business for new prospect and maintaining the relationships for long-term business opportunities.

Understanding customer needs, create solution; building rapport customer relationship and secure customer on board.

Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned or required from time to time.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple jobs

Resolve any rising problem and complaints from customer

Follow up shipment status with customer from booking until vessel sail

Document preparation for export and customs clearance and invoice

Promote company logistics products to prospect client (Air/Sea Freight / Warehouse / Trucking)

Create - Develope - Secure business for new prospect and maintaining the relationships for long-term business opportunities.

Teamwork with Indoor sales to ensure all enquiries/order/shipment are well manage and execute.

Understanding customer needs, create solution; building rapport customer relationship and secure customer on board.

Responsible for meeting Job KPI and monthly sales target.

Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned or required from time to time.
