Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Management, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, Product Development, Textile Technology, Graphic Design, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in product development, merchandising, product management, retail, fashion, or related industries.
Experience in fashion, apparel, retail, lifestyle, or consumer product businesses is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Good project coordination and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
Experience with product databases, SKU management, and product documentation.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar design software is an added advantage.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
1. Product Research & Market Analysis
• Conduct market research on fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor products.
• Monitor local and international modest fashion trends.
• Analyze competitor collections, pricing, packaging, and promotional activities.
• Identify product opportunities, market gaps, and emerging trends.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback from boutiques, online platforms, and sales teams.
• Prepare periodic trend and market analysis reports.
2. Product Development & Collection Planning
• Assist in planning and developing new product collections.
• Coordinate collection development activities from concept stage to launch.
• Work closely with designers, production, and relevant departments on product specifications, materials, colors, and embellishments.
• Coordinate product sampling, evaluation, and improvement activities.
• Monitor product development timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.
• Support product innovation initiatives and collection enhancement projects.
3. Product Information & Data Management
• Maintain and manage the company's master product database.
• Create and update product information sheets and specifications.
• Manage product coding, SKU registration, and product categorization.
• Ensure all product details, descriptions, fabric specifications, colors, and collection information are accurately maintained.
• Coordinate product information updates across relevant departments.
4. Product Performance & Lifecycle Management
• Monitor product sales performance and collection effectiveness.
• Analyze product performance by category, collection, sales channel, and location.
• Identify best-selling products, slow-moving products, and product improvement opportunities.
• Recommend repeat production, product enhancement, or discontinuation initiatives.
• Support management with product performance insights and recommendations.
5. Product Archive & Documentation
• Maintain a centralized archive of all product collections and related information.
• Organize product images, design files, fabric references, collection records, and historical product information.
• Ensure all product documentation is properly maintained and accessible.
• Support audit, reporting, and information retrieval requirements.
6. Product Launch Coordination
• Coordinate product launch preparation and execution.
• Ensure product information and specifications are completed prior to launch.
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to support campaign preparation and product launches.
• Coordinate product photoshoot requirements and launch materials where required.
• Ensure smooth communication between departments throughout the product launch process.
