Job Description

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level) is required for this entry-level position.

  • No prior experience necessary; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Proficiency in patient registration and appointment scheduling.

  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential medical records.

  • Willingness to assist physicians with examinations and basic procedures.

  • Skills in managing patient flow efficiently within the clinic.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.

  • Mandarin language proficiency is a significant advantage for patient interaction.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.

  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients, verifying insurance information and collecting co-pays.

  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar.

  • Maintain accurate and organized patient medical records, both electronic and paper-based.

  • Assist physicians and nurses with basic medical procedures, including taking vital signs and preparing examination rooms.

  • Manage patient flow within the clinic, ensuring timely and efficient service.

  • Answer patient phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff.

  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing clinic supplies.

  • Sterilize and maintain medical equipment according to established protocols.

  • Educate patients on clinic policies and procedures, and provide general information.

  • Ensure the waiting area and examination rooms are clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
