SPM or equivalent

Possesses strong practical skills and is competent in carrying out dental nursing procedures and related clinical tasks.

Experience in dental nursing is preferred, but not required. Comprehensive paid training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Basic computer literacy, strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a friendly, attentive, and professional approach to patient care.

Chairside Assistance: Assist dentists during dental treatments and surgical procedures by preparing and passing instruments, providing suction, and maintaining a clear operating field.

Infection Control: Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols, including the proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of instruments and equipment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Patient Reception & Preparation: Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, record medical histories and measure vital signs when required.

Dental Radiography: Take dental X-rays while ensuring accurate positioning, radiation safety, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and clinical progress notes while ensuring compliance with data protection and patient confidentiality requirements.

Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and reschedule or cancel patient appointments as needed.

Patient Communication: Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and post-operative care instructions.

Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish dental materials, instruments, and clinical supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.

Oral Health Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, dental hygienists, and other team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
