Education:

  • Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia

Skill:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Willingness to do on-call duty and work after office hours/weekends/public holidays when required. 

  • Microsoft office literacy

Other:

  • Good leadership, good interpersonal and communication skills, team work, good time management and willing to work extra miles for company’s achievement.

  • Knowledgeable and strong believer in quality improvement activities, OSH and infection control standards.  

  • Evidence of current and ongoing education (desirable).   

岗位职责

  • Greet all customers upon arrival with smile. 

  • Well groom and tidy and ensure all hospital info is up to date. 

  • Receive all patients directed from the Main Lobby and A&E Services with or without appointment, 

  • Ensure registration is made accurately (patient demographic, preparation of forms and open a new file). 

  • Preserve patient’s right and confidentiality. 

  • Ensure the safety of the patient in the clinic and as and when outside the clinic. 

  • Request all case notes a day ahead of the appointment date.  

  • Collect them on the appointment date at the Medical Record Library and return them all before clinic closed. No case note is allowed to be kept in the clinic without approval from the Head of services. 

  • All transactions of the case notes are to be documented and must not expose to the public. 

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and keep the clinic tidy and clean at all time. 

  • Explain clearly to patient before and after treatment care needed as well as charges incurred. 

  • All test results like laboratory, ECG, X-ray and etc are to be filed immediately into the right case note. 

  • All doctor’s replies are to send out on the same day. 

  • Enter all charges and inventory correctly into the system. 

  • Validate all guarantee letters and insurance cards immediately before treatment is provided or before admission. 

  • To chaperon a male doctor during examination of a female patient. 

  • Aware of doctor’s on-call list. 

  • Prepare to be mobilized to assist in other clinics. 

  • Strictly follow and abide all rules and regulations of the issuance and transactions of Medical Certificate (MC) Book, and maintain the cycle of cold chain. 

  • To compile and submit all statistical report every end of the month. 

  • To attend and participate in department meeting and briefing. 

  • Responsible for self improvement by participating in training and courses. 

  • Follow instruction or assignment given by superior from time to time. 

  • To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:- 

  • To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons; 

  • To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty; 

  • To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.  

  • To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health. 

  • Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced 

  • Ensure compliance of Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008) 

  • Ensure the policies on Patient and Family’s Rights are addressed at all times. 

  • Ensure all Hospital policies and procedures are adhered to and records maintained, if and when quality programs are implemented. 

  • Abide to the requirement of selecting the right person for the right job based on the selection criteria. 

  • Staff performance is monitored; identify strengths and weakness, areas for improvement, learning needs and career pathway. Yearly competency and 6 monthly KRA implemented 

  • Clear direction of accountability, functions and responsibilities. 

  • Recommend for confirmation / promotion /post graduate program. 

  • Staff without specialization is privileged accordingly. 

  • Staff performance improved and effective manpower utilization

  • Maintain high standard of quality care and accordance with accreditation and PHFA 

  • Hospital infection rate is being monitored 

  • Completeness of nursing documentation on legal aspect 

  • Maintain adequate stock and comply with Dangerous Drug Act.
