-Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
-Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
-Experience in General Ledger (GL), month-end closing, and financial reporting
-Familiar with accounting software such as SQL Account or AutoCount
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
-Basic knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance requirements
-Able to work independently with minimum supervision
-Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
-Handle General Ledger (GL) functions including accounting entries and ledger maintenance
-Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
-Prepare monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules
-Perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries
-Prepare accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and fixed assets schedules
-Maintain proper accounting records, filing, and financial documentation
-Assist in audit, tax, and statutory compliance matters
-Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers on finance-related matters
-Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls
-Assist Finance Manager in finance-related projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc assignments
-Ensure timely and accurate preparation of accounting reports and schedules
