Education

• Master's Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

• PhD is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in higher education is preferred.

• Experience teaching MPU subjects will be an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MQA and MOHE requirements.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Good interpersonal and student engagement skills.

• Ability to use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online teaching platforms.

1. Teaching & Learning

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and other learning activities for MPU subjects.

• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning resources aligned with approved course syllabi.

• Utilize appropriate teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

• Maintain accurate attendance and academic records.

• Conduct classes according to the academic timetable and institutional policies.

2. Student Assessment & Evaluation

• Prepare assignments, quizzes, projects, examinations, and assessment rubrics.

• Mark and evaluate student assessments in a timely and fair manner.

• Provide constructive feedback to students on academic performance.

• Submit examination questions, marks, and reports within stipulated deadlines.

• Participate in moderation and verification processes as required.

3. Academic Advising & Student Support

• Provide academic guidance and consultation to students.

• Assist students with academic and personal development where appropriate.

• Monitor student progress and recommend intervention strategies for at-risk students.

• Participate in student orientation, academic counseling, and mentoring programs.

4. Curriculum Development & Quality Assurance

• Participate in curriculum review and enhancement activities.

• Ensure compliance with MQA, MOHE, and institutional academic standards.

• Assist in preparing documentation for accreditation, audits, and quality assurance exercises.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for MPU programmes.

5. Research, Publication & Scholarly Activities

• Engage in research, scholarly activities, and professional development.

• Publish research papers, articles, or academic materials as required by the institution.

• Present papers at conferences, seminars, or workshops.

• Contribute to institutional research and publication targets.

6. Administrative Duties

• Attend departmental meetings, faculty meetings, and academic committees.

• Prepare reports and documentation related to teaching and academic activities.

• Participate in institutional events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.

• Undertake additional duties assigned by the Head of Department or Management.

7. Community Engagement & University Service

• Participate in community service and outreach programmes.

• Support university initiatives, events, and student activities.

• Foster collaboration with external stakeholders where applicable.
