• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, charting).

  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) or manufacturing software (ERP/MES) is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Attributes:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both office staff and shop-floor operators.

  • Comfortable working within a physical manufacturing/factory floor environment.

1. Daily Production Support & Monitoring

• Assist Production Supervisors in monitoring daily output against targets to ensure on-time delivery.

• Track and document machine downtime, cycle times, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

• Help identify bottlenecks on the production line and propose practical troubleshooting solutions.

2. Process Optimization & Lean Manufacturing

• Participate in time-motion studies and line balancing activities to eliminate waste and improve workflow.

• Support the implementation and auditing of 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across the shop floor.

• Assist in updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and visual management displays for operators.

3. Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance

• Conduct routine quality checks and assist in investigating non-conformance reports (NCR) or product defects.

• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with standard safety regulations and company policies.

• Assist in organizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) audits and safety hazard reports.

4. Data Management & Reporting

• Collect, compile, and analyze production data to generate weekly performance reports.

• Maintain digital logs of production metrics, scrap rates, and material usage.
