• Minimum Bachelor of Science Honours (Medical Physics) or Bachelor of Science Honours (Medical Radiation) and recognized by Nuclear License Division of Ministry of Health.

Additional Qualifications / Skills

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, spoken & written.

• Basic Computer / IT knowledge & skill.

• Good communication and inter-personal skills

• Maintain Quality assurance and Quality Control as per guideline by Ministry of health for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.

• Ensuring all radiation workers adhere and wear their personal monitoring devices and perform the routine three (3) yearly medical examination as per LPTA/BM/5 by Atomic Licensing Act (LPTA). He/she is to document and monitor the monthly readings of the monitoring devices and medical records of radiation workers

• Handling and preparing radioisotope for PET-CT procedures.

• Ensuring all relevant periodic (Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly) PPM, QC and recalibration for all relevant nuclear related equipment including gamma camera, PETCT, dose calibrator, gamma probe, and radioactive materials.

• Compiling Quality assurance and Quality Control result

• To provide education and advice to staff and patients on the radiation exposures, dose and risks together with Cardiac Angiographer.

• Participate in research projects involving Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
