Tasks include –

To collaborate with maintenance department to ensure factory machinery and equipment are in good working order by following procedures
To motivate factory workers to continually achieve factory targets while maintaining high standards of the production line.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Ensure correct parts were delivered and perform visual inspection of components prior to installation
Effectively use instructions and schematics, hand tools, torque wrenches, equipment and fixtures to assemble equipment
Install parts and hardware correctly by instructions and using hand tools/fixtures if needed
Close assigned tasks by verifying work was completed, signing off and giving a description of what was done
Assist with audits through visual inspection and verifying checklists
Provide flexibility and responsiveness for changing priorities including rework requirements and pilot build projects
Work in teams to ensure workflow and production schedule is maintained
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing and tracking orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
