JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • The "Hunter" Profile: Minimum 5+ years of aggressive sales, business development, or country-launching experience in the eCommerce logistics, e-fulfillment, or cross-border e-logistics industry within SEA.

  • Geographic Expertise: Deep, firsthand understanding of the Malaysian eCommerce landscape, with additional business exposure or network in Thailand being a significant advantage.

  • Established Local Rolodex: Must possess immediate, warm connections with eCommerce platforms, top-tier E-shop enablers, and modern fulfillment operators in Malaysia.

  • Proven "Zero-to-One" Track Record: Experience working as an early employee in a startup, or successfully launching a new country/business unit from scratch with limited initial resources.

  • Exceptional Resilience: High comfort level with ambiguity, changing environments, and lack of predefined corporate structures. You are a problem-solver who creates processes rather than waiting for them.

  • Languages & Culture: Professional fluency in English and Malay/Chinese to navigate the local Malaysian business landscape, with knowledge of Thai being a strong plus.

  • Hands-on Attitude: Willingness to roll up your sleeves—doing everything from high-level contract negotiation to resolving immediate customer operational issues in the early days.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION: Country Development Manager (SEA Market – eCommerce Logistics)

  • From Zero to One Execution: Take total ownership of launching Noatum’s eCommerce logistics presence, driving the entire commercial process from market mapping to signing the first wave of revenue-generating clients in Malaysia.

  • Aggressive Market Hunting: Relentlessly source, pitch, and close new business opportunities (new logos). You will be cold-calling, networking, and knocking on doors to build our initial pipeline.

  • Ecosystem Architecture: Leverage your active personal network to embed Noatum into the local eCommerce infrastructure. Establish immediate connections with local eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop), E-shop enablers, and digital brands.

  • Regional Horizon (Phase 2): After establishing the foundation in Malaysia, strategically expand our commercial outreach and pipeline into the Thailand market.

  • Local Vendor Operations Setup: Since we are building from scratch, you will identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships with local fulfillment centers, last-mile couriers, and cross-border trucking providers to build our initial fulfillment and distribution network.

  • Strategic Growth Mapping: Formulate the local country commercial strategy. Feed real-time market intelligence, pricing trends, and competitor analysis back to the Hong Kong regional headquarters to optimize our product offerings.

  • Future Team Foundation: Lay the groundwork for the local organization. As the pipeline grows, you will help design, hire, and lead the local customer service and key account management teams.
