This QAQC Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control processes for precast concrete products and ready-mix concrete, ensuring they meet project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. Key duties include implementing quality systems, managing a QA/QC team, performing inspections, coordinating with production and clients, and maintaining quality records.

Responsibilities

1. System Management:

• Implement and maintain the quality assurance and control system throughout the precast concrete production process.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001.
• Ensure that internal audits are carried out to verify compliance to QA requirements, and the effectiveness of improvement actions taken.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
• Prepare quality procedures/documentation to support the QMS processes.

2. Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team to achieve quality, production, and delivery goals.
• To ensure all employees, including sub-contractors and suppliers are complied with company's QAQC procedures.
• Identify and provide QAQC related training to staffs, and other operation staff.

3. Product Quality:

• Ensure all precast products meet required quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish non-conformance controls to prevent inadvertent use of non-conformance products.
• To understand the repeated defects and find the root cause and solve the issue.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions implemented.

4. Inspections:

• Oversee and coordinate pre-pour, post-pour, and pre-delivery inspections at various stages of production.

5. Coordination:

• Liaise with production teams, logistics, and sub-contractors on daily production and quality-related issues.

6. Client Relations:

• Coordinate with customers' representatives on all quality matters.
• Attending HDB audits first cast inspections and HDB trade demos.

7. Record Keeping:

• Maintain proper documentation, filing, and retrieval of all QA/QC records for traceability.
• Monitor rejection rate and defect rectification man hours due to quality issues.
• Assist in preparing monthly summary reports on quality matters.

8. Material Testing:

• Monitor and oversees material inspections as per HDB requirement.

9. Others:

• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
