Provide first-line engineering support for onsite operational issues, including troubleshooting hardware, network, and software problems, and firmware compliance.
Work with internal technical teams and external vendors on the Proof-of-Concept (POC) test and assist on the qualification process and requirement validation.
Define and operationalize models for managing customer bare-metal fleets at rack-level-and-up—IT service, break-fix, network and firmware management—including Bare Metal as a Service (BMaaS) and customer self-service patterns.
Lead major incident response, service recovery, escalation management, root cause analysis, and problem management activities to minimize business impact and prevent recurrence.
Solve high performance compute continuity. Define what recovery actually means for high performance compute, where classical disaster recovery assumptions fail. Decide what is recovered, what is rebuilt, and what is deliberately accepted as loss.
Technical Collaboration and End-to-End Acceptance: Work with technical teams on GPU selection and the evaluation of supporting data center, network and storage solutions. Drive end-to-end delivery, performance testing and acceptance to ensure resources meet model deployment and inference service requirements, including on-site inspections at supplier facilities.
