Are you detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in supplier coordination and procurement? Join our team and play an important role in ensuring timely purchasing, cost efficiency, and smooth business operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favourable purchasing terms.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
• Request and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Follow up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, and outstanding items to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Store, Logistics, Finance, and other departments to fulfil material and operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and support material planning to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, quotations, and procurement documentation.
• Evaluate supplier performance in terms of price, quality, delivery, and service.
• Resolve purchasing-related issues, including delivery delays, incorrect items, and discrepancies.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in purchasing may also be considered.
• Good negotiation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and purchasing or inventory systems.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Meticulous, responsible, and committed to maintaining accurate records.
