Job Location : Changi Industry : Freight Forwarding / Logistics This position is responsible for effective handling of Spot-Bid / Tenders from customers and aligning opportunities with the company’s strategic objectives Key Roles and Responsibilities: · Work closely with global and / or regional account management team to lead or support the preparation and submission of spot-bid / tenders for global and strategic customers · Analyse specifications and liaise with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate and timely responses · Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including local offices teams to ensure high quality and competitive offers · Develop a project plan and for adequate pricing analysis, internal review, and evaluation in-line with the global tender management process · Maintain record of spot-bid / tenders in internal reports and management system · Leading/involve in meeting with cross region stakeholder to give advice or provide analysis to achieve corporate goal (if needed) · Other assignments and participation in related projects, as required Skills Required: - Advanced MS-Excel is mandatory - Ability to utilize software efficiently eg. Ariba/Jagger/etc. - Fast-thinker, Problem solver and strong aptitude for numbers - Good interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural diversity - Must be fluent in spoken and written English - Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Qualifications & Experience: · Diploma in SCM/Logistics/Business Administration or other related fields preferred · 2-3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry

Job Requirements

At least 1 years of sales experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, and warehousing industry is preferred for this position.

With existing customer base.

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization,

Eager to expand the company with new sales and clients.

Able to engage customers over the phone and face-to-face.

Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Basic PC knowledge, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and usage of Microsoft Excel
