INTERNSHIP SALES AND MARKETING - OIL & GAS INDUSTRY

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking motivated and dynamic Undergraduate and Postgraduate students to join our Sales & Marketing Division. This internship provides hands-on exposure to B2B sales, international trading markets, client acquisition strategies, and corporate marketing initiatives within the energy and commodities sector.

Job Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in identifying and researching potential B2B clients (local & international markets Support lead generation and prospect outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls)

- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and company profiles

- Assist in market research and competitor analysis (energy/commodities sector)

- Support digital marketing initiatives (LinkedIn content, corporate branding)

- Coordinate client meetings and prepare meeting minutes

- Maintain CRM database and sales tracking reports

- Assist management in business development activities

LEARNING EXPOSURE

- International commodity trading environment

- B2B negotiation & client engagement strategies

- Sales funnel management

- Corporate branding & digital presence building

- Exposure to oil & gas / energy trading markets

REQUIREMENTS

- Currently pursuing Diploma / Bachelor's Degree / MBA in:

Marketing

International Business

Economics

or related fiels

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / MBA in Marketing, International Business, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields

• Strong interest in Sales, Marketing, International Trade, or the Oil & Gas / Energy industry

• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English

• Confident in conducting online research and engaging with clients professionally

• Basic understanding of LinkedIn, email communication, and digital marketing platforms is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace tools

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn in a fast-paced business environment

• Prior internship, sales, marketing, or business development experience is a plus but not mandatory

• Malaysian applicants preferred
