Monitor internal non conformances/defects/rejects captured with proper corrective and preventive actions executed by process owners. Calculate the cost of external and internal rejects with process owners and tabulate for presentation to management during monthly quality meetings.
Capture incoming defects highlighted either from suppliers of raw materials (wheat & packaging materials) or transporting vehicles and send SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) reports to suppliers in the event there is a quality defect. Follow up with suppliers on replies of SCAR by the stipulated time frame. Summarizes SCARS and supplier performances; and feedback to manager for further improvement plan with suppliers.
