This course is designed to develop students’ skills and knowledge to identify and examines major issues in hospitality management. Students will be taught on the management of the hospitality sector including food and beverage outlets, types of accommodations and trends in service delivery. Sustainability and ethical concerns in hospitality management are further explored in a constantly changing environment due to emerging issues, changing business models, innovations, and technological advancements. This course is conducted through 9 weekly lectures and students, upon completion of this course, will be able to create and explain innovative hospitality facilities, services and online marketing campaigns in a sustainable and ethical manner.
Classes are mostly be conducted during the day between 8.30am and 6.30pm on weekdays.
