Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations and project activities, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and effective resource utilisation.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, resources, equipment, and work schedules according to project requirements.
- Lead and manage project teams, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors, including monitoring performance and productivity.
- Monitor project progress, quality, costs, deadlines, and operational performance, and take timely corrective action when required.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and resolve operational and people-related issues, including workplace conflicts and changing priorities.
- Motivate teams, maintain effective communication, and ensure employees take ownership of assigned work through completion.
- Ensure project activities are properly documented and carried out safely in accordance with company procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Support Management in improving operational efficiency, productivity, cost awareness, and overall project performance.
- Prepare regular project and operations reports and provide updates, issues, and recommendations to Management.
Requirements & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in operations, project management, construction, engineering, facilities, manufacturing, IT, or other project-based industries.
- Proven experience managing people, teams, projects, and subcontractors.
- Strong project coordination, problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with different levels of employees, customers, and external parties.
- Able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and operational challenges simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, discipline, accountability, and a “get things done” attitude.
- Practical and hands-on, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational requirements.
- Willing to travel to project sites when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
Industry Experience
Telecommunications experience is an advantage but NOT mandatory.
Candidates from Telecommunications, Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, IT/Technology, Electrical & Mechanical, Project Management, or other project-based industries are encouraged to apply.
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,900.00 per month
