Scope of Position

The Technical Sales Engineer will actively participate in sales and marketing activities within the respective industry. Focusing on the selling Fans & Blowers, Air Handling Equipment, and Exhaust Ventilation & Filtration Systems or or other industrial equipment and machinery. The incumbent will develop new business opportunities, maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the company’s overall growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• To participate actively in sales & marketing in the respective industry.
• To call and visit customers on new & potential enquiries.
• To prepare proposals and quotations for clients within stipulated deadlines.
• To perform company presentations to new & potential clients.
• To attend/assist on exhibition within Malaysia and other country region
• To develop new business opportunities and leads.
• To build and maintain strong relationships with business partners.
• To sell and achieve sales targets of the product line.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Attend weekly and monthly meetings.
• To submit & follow-up quotations until order is received.
• Provide excellent pre-sales and after-sales services to clients.
• Maintain close client contact and enhance customer relationships.
• Coordinate and liaise with project and production teams for project implementation.
• Travel as required to support business development and client needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Min. Education:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Mechatronic Engineering

Min Experience:

• Minimum 5 years industrial selling experience (Fans & Blowers, Air Handling Equipment, Exhaust Ventilation & Filtration Systems, or other industrial equipment)

Other Experience/Training/Qualifications:

• Good contacts in manufacturing and process industries.
• Proven track record of sales performance.
• Comfortable traveling as part of job requirements.

Other Qualifications/Skills:

• Preferably based in Ipoh or Penang to effectively cover the Northern Region.
• Willing to work remotely and travel to HQ in Seri Kembangan for meetings when required.
• Must be flexible and self-disciplined in a remote working environment.
• Willing and able to conduct multiple site visits within a day across the Northern Region.
• Strong time management and planning skills to handle frequent travel.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
• Action and result-oriented, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
