Role Description The Security Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nilai. The Security Officer will monitor and patrol assigned premises, control access points, and ensure that visitors, staff, and property are protected in accordance with company and client procedures. Daily tasks include conducting security checks, observing CCTV or other surveillance systems, reporting and documenting incidents, and responding to alarms or emergencies. The role also involves enforcing safety and security regulations, supporting investigations of any suspicious activity, and communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and law enforcement when required. Security Officers are expected to maintain a professional presence, follow all operational guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of site security.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong observation and situational awareness skills, with the ability to assess risks and respond calmly under pressure.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, visitors, and team members and to prepare clear incident reports.
• Candidates should possess basic knowledge of security procedures, access control, and emergency response practices, including familiarity with local regulations.
• Candidates should possess the physical fitness required for patrols, standing for extended periods, and responding quickly to incidents on-site.
• Candidates should possess integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies.
• Relevant security certifications or licenses, prior experience in security or law enforcement, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are beneficial.
