Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Diploma in OSH

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and establish HSSE policies and procedures ensuring that they

meet all relevant statutory, client and corporate requirements.

• Maintain and submit all HSSE permits and licenses required by local authorities.

• Conduct and review risk assessments, aspects and impacts analysis, corrective and

preventive measures, safe work procedures and environmental matters.

• Assist in maintaining and improving the HSSE Management System in accordance with

ISO 45001 (new) and ISO 14001 standards.

• Monitor and report HSSE performances on a timely manner and make

recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Perform near misses / incident investigations and follow up with all appropriate

managers to close HSSE related action items.

• Implement and rehearse emergency response plans and procedures on a regular basis

• Identify training requirements and develop training programs.

• Organize HSSE promotional activities, awareness programs and regular HSSE meetings.

• Conduct and support internal and external HSSE audits according to regulatory,

customers and corporate requirements.

• Coordinating implementation of Safe Management Measures: This includes identifying

relevant risks, recommending and assisting in implementing measures to mitigate the

risks, and communicating the measures to all personnel working in the workplace.

• Conducting inspections and checks: To ensure compliance at all times. Any non

compliance found during the inspections should be reported and documented to the

Group HSSE, HR, Operations Manager and CEO.

• Remedying non-compliance: Immediate action should be taken in conjunction with the

OMS Singapore personnel to remedy any non-compliance found during the inspections

and checks.

• Keeping records of inspections and checks: Records of the inspections and checks

conducted and corrective actions taken must be kept and made available upon request

by a Government Inspector.

• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, security and environmental

regulations

• Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities.
